Phoenix Point is playable at EGX Rezzed 2019

We’re delighted to reveal Phoenix Point as a playable game for EGX Rezzed 2019! Next year’s event, taking place at London’s Tobacco Dock on the 4th-6th April.

Phoenix Point is a turn-based tactical combat and strategy game by Julian Gollop.

You head up The Phoenix Project: a worldwide organization designed to be activated when the world is in peril. You control one cell, gathering some of the world’s best scientists, engineers and soldiers. After your cell is activated, you realize that you have no contact with any other cells. You need to find out what happened to them.

The human population has been decimated. Survivors gather in isolated havens spread throughout the world. A few factions control most of the havens and resources, but they have radically contrasting ideologies and guard deep secrets.

An unusual virus discovered in melting permafrost excites the scientific community. It has a massive genome, and only 1% of its genes match anything in existing databases. Later, the seas transform into something totally alien. Then the mutagens begin to invade the land via an airborne microbial mist.
