Things to Do

Up close and personal

If you’re an established developer, keen to get into the scene, or just love learning about how games are made, you won’t want to skip a visit to our EGX Rezzed Sessions.

Taking place on a smaller stage, these are a more intimate take on our Developer Sessions, with the focus on panels that get right into the details of game development and share hands-on, practical advice.

What can I expect?

The Rezzed Sessions are hosted by expert panellists and presenters, and many are also successful indie developers exhibiting their games at the show.

We hope you’ll find a relaxed friendly vibe where you’re encouraged to contribute, meet other enthusiasts and ask all the questions you like.

Panels from previous years have tackled a huge variety of topics, from the evolution of gaming “40 Years of Game Development: From ZX Spectrum to Nintendo Switch”, to music “RuneScape: The Road to Harmony – from MIDI to Philharmonia”, as well as given insider insights “Tales from the Creation of Sea of Thieves”, and tips on getting into games journalism, securing funding and generating content from your game.

Early indications suggest that this year’s programme will be just as eclectic. A real MUST VISIT for anyone who wants a deeper insight into how games are made.
