Featuring LOST WORDS: BEYOND THE PAGE (Sketchbook Games) and SEA OF THIEVES (Rare).

Head to the EGX Theatre on Saturday 19th October at 1pm to join David Housden, Mike Chapman, Robin Beanland, Janesta Boudreau and Mark Backler as they explore storytelling through music in games.

Ivor Novello & BAFTA nominated composer David Housden (Q.U.B.E. 2, Volume, Thomas Was Alone) and Mark Backler, Founder & Creative Director of Sketchbook Games, will discuss creating the emotional music score for the upcoming narrative adventure game, LOST WORDS: BEYOND THE PAGE, along with Rare’s Music Director & Composer Robin Beanland (Conker’s Bad Fur Day, Jet Force Gemini, Killer Instinct) and Rare’s Design Director Mike Chapman (Sea Of Thieves, DiRT series, Dead to Rights) describing their collaboration on the story campaigns in the pirate-themed shared-world adventure game, SEA OF THIEVES. Chaired by Janesta Boudreau, music supervisor at Frontier Developments (Planet Zoo, Jurassic World Evolution).

EGX attendees will be able to catch the session at 1pm (BST) on Saturday 19th October. The session will be live streamed on Twitch and available to watch later on the EGX YouTube channel.
