Star Wars Battlefront Crowned EGX 2015 Game of the Show!

The results are in. In the annual post-event survey visitors to EGX have overwhelmingly chosen EA's Star Wars Battlefront as their EGX 2015 Game of the Show.

With playable code on the EA and PlayStation stands, plus a full size TIE Fighter, Star Wars Battlefront enjoyed a huge presence on the show floor. Gamers loved the 20 v. 20 Battle of Hoth arena and the co-op Survival Mode.

HTC Vive - powered by Steam VR - came in second with its selection of fully immersive 3D demos. Elsewhere, Ubisoft had a particularly successful show in the eyes of gamers with three of its games in the top 10. Square Enix was also notable with two titles including the 6th placed Just Cause 3.

Gang Beasts won the coveted EGX 2015 Indie Game of the Show. This was particularly impressive considering the huge indie gaming presence at this year's event. Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide and Aaero rounded off the top three.
