Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra bring two live shows to EGX 2018!

Popular YouTube channels Outside Xbox and Outside Xtra are returning to EGX in 2018 with two live shows, a livestream and daily meet and greet sessions on the show floor.

Following a sold-out debut at EGX last year, Showdown of the Week will return at 5pm on Friday 21st September, with showdown overseer Andy Farrant pitting Outside Xbox’s Jane Douglas and Mike Channell against Outside Xtra’s Luke Westaway and Ellen Rose in a series of fearsome intellectual challenges, and also charades.

Then on Saturday 22nd September all five of the brave-ish Oxventure companions will gather at 5pm for live Dungeons and Dragons, hosted by their eternally patient Dungeon Master, Eurogamer’s Johnny Chiodini.

Attendees of each live show will receive a collectible lucky wristband which may not be actually lucky but is at least guaranteed* un-cursed.

The Outside Xtra and Outside Xbox teams will also be hosting meet and greets for fans each day of EGX, plus a livestream from the EGX streaming stage on Saturday 22nd. A full schedule is below.

Outside Xbox is the world’s favourite unofficial Xbox channel. Hosted by Andy Farrant, Jane Douglas and Mike Channel, it has attracted over 2.1m subscribers with its signature mix of list videos, let’s plays, and community showcase Show of the Week. Companion channel Outside Xtra, hosted by Ellen Rose and Luke Westaway, launched in 2016 and has rapidly grown to nearly 500,000 subscribers. All presenters will be taking part in shows at EGX 2018.
