Board games library to debut at EGX thanks to Playopolis

Great news for tabletop gaming fans, EGX has teamed up with the fine folks at board game café and online store, Playopolis, to create a board games library at this September's event.

The library will offer a collection of both popular and brand new tabletop games. Visitors will be able to pick up the game of their choice, play with their friends at a nearby table before returning it when finished. Certain games will also be available to purchase at the stand, stay tuned for more news on this closer to the time.

The Playopolis library will sit alongside the Esdevium Games area which will continue in the same format as previous years with expert demonstrators on-hand to guide players through a range of the best and most interesting games around.

EGX 2017 will host the largest board games feature in the event's history. In addition to the Playopolis library and Esdevium Games space, visitors will be able to get hands-on with a number of exciting, pre-release indie games. We'll add a full list of the games to our what's on page in the coming weeks. If you have a tabletop game you'd like to exhibit at EGX why not drop us a line.

Playopolis is a family run board games cafe and online store founded in 2016 and based in Rochester, Kent. They provide a fun and friendly space for people to eat, drink and play some of the best board games in the world. Pay them a visit!

We're celebrating 10 years of EGX events so why not join us at the NEC in Birmingham on the 21st to 24th September. Tickets are available to purchase here.
