Returning to EGX this year with a schedule consisting entirely of panel sessions and live podcast recordings proposed and hosted by the EGX community.
We’re all ears
Fringe Theatre will be returning to EGX 2020! This year’s schedule will consist entirely of panel sessions and live podcast recordings, all proposed and hosted by the fantastic EGX community.
If you’ve got an idea or something you want to discuss with fellow gamers, now is your moment to grab some of the limelight. The EGX Fringe Theatre provides you with a platform to have your say and explore the topics that matter to you.
Say ANYTHING you like! Within reason, of course.
Tell us what you’re passionate about or tell us about your experience in the industry, creativity has no limits. From artificial intelligence and virtual reality through to unionisation and the rise of Indie developers, really, anything goes!
We’re all about giving a voice to unique ideas and concepts, which is why all Fringe Theatre content is 100% proposed and delivered by the EGX community themselves.
Need some inspiration? Last year we had some awesome panels and podcasts that discussed accessibility in the Gears of War franchise as a gamer without site, updates from the UK’s first games industry union and even self care and gaming!
Fringe Theatre wants YOU
Now’s the time to put your thinking caps on and create the content that the gaming community needs to hear. We’ll be taking applications within the next few weeks, so watch this space and follow us on social media to keep up as we reveal more details. We want your most interesting and educational ideas, so don’t hold back!
More of a spectator?
Great! Clear some time in your EGX schedule to pop down and support the panellists, learn something new, and help strengthen the gaming community while you’re at it. We’re be releasing the timetable nearer the time, so stay tuned!
