The GamesIndustry.biz Careers Fair area of EGX brings you closer to the gaming industry. Across the event, you will be able to meet industry people and get your CV, application or Portfolio reviewed in our Portfolio Sessions. Not only this, but you can also talk with professionals from the industry as they give talks and advice about how to kick start your career and much more. There will also be a whole host of publishers who will be looking to recruit, so make sure you stop by, pick up an application form and get in the industry today.

Cyber Choices is a Law Enforcement programme which aims to stop talented individuals from engaging or further engaging in cybercrime. We do this by highlighting the opportunities available and the benefits of legal use of skills to people with technical ability, whether that be jobs, careers, projects, qualifications or apprenticeships. We also provide education around the law and the consequences of breaking it. LightForge Academy

LightForge Academy is a new, dedicated learning environment for Games, Film & VFX. We aim to bridge the gap between education and industry through hands-on courses that lead to careers in exciting, dynamic industries. With bases in central London and Doncaster, S.Yorkshire we are perfectly located to shape, develop and guide the creative talent of tomorrow.

They will be able to give you new information on their new training academy in Doncaster and London dedicated to Games, Film & VFX training. Vocational courses in: Python Coding for VFX starting October , Games Quality and Assurance starting Jan 2020. Dare Academy

Dare Academy is highly regarded annual game design competition powered by Abertay University – home of Europe’s top Computer Games Degree programmes. Originating from “Dare to be Digital”, the Dare Academy sees 6 teams from Abertay come together where they’ll go head to head EGX demonstrating games that’ve been made during the summer, with the support of industry mentors. The winner will be selected by an industry panel, with the winner receiving £5,000 cash prize.
