Esports at EGX

EGX is fast becoming the home of esports in the UK and 2017's event will be bigger than ever before with the addition of a dedicated esports arena. EGX has partnered with ESL, Blizzard, OMEN by HP and Capcom to bring you thrilling competitive gaming on a huge scale.

We want to keep you up to date with all the esports developments at EGX so we've created dedicated channels for you to follow. Find us on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.

Further details on the esports arena will be revealed later this year but in the meantime here are the tournaments you can get involved with whether as competitor or spectator.

ESL Premiership Finals

For the first time ESL will bring the ESL Premiership Finals to EGX with over £20,000 of prize money to play for. Two Premiership Autumn Season finals will be held during EGX: the League of Legends Finals and Counter Strike:Global Offensive Finals. In addition to these two finals held on the Main Stage, ESL UK will also bring the ESL Arena, powered by Intel, to EGX, with more details to be announced soon.

The Overwatch Road to EGX played on OMEN by HP

Overwatch Road to EGX is the UK's biggest Overwatch tournament and is supported by OMEN by HP and Blizzard. This six month competition began at EGX Rezzed 2017 and will continue throughout the year via a series of online cups, culminating in a grand final at EGX 2017. Capcom Pro Tour Premier Event

The Capcom Pro Tour is a year-round Street Fighter V tournament and the world's biggest fighting game championship. Once again EGX will host a Premier Event, one of only a handful on the European tour schedule, with vital ranking points up for grabs along with big prize money for the top 16 players. The tournament is expected to attract the world's best Street Fighter competitors so fans will not want to miss this. To register to take part in the tournament and for more information head here.
